Lindsay Rangel was hired as the women's water polo assistant coach in the summer of 2016. She enters her second season with the team.
Rangel was most recently the head girls water polo coach and assistant boys water polo coach at Ayala High School in Chino Hills, California. She led the girls team to a 44-15 record with back-to-back league championships.

She played collegiately at Sonoma State, scoring 104 career goals and adding 75 assists and 63 steals. Rangel ranks in the top 10 all-time at Sonoma State in goals, assists, attempts and blocks. She was named to the WWPA all-freshman team in 2009 and was named honorable mention all-conference in 2012.

Rangel graduated in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology.

"I'm looking forward to helping introduce a West Coast style of play to the new program here at La Salle," Rangel said. "I'm excited to use my experience to help the athletes and am honored to be able to be a part of building this program from the start."
