A shorthanded La Salle squad dropped a 7-0 decision to conference-rival Saint Joseph's on Friday.
The Hawks won the doubles point, as the Explorers were forced to forfeit all three matches.
In singles, Rachael Barnhart dropped a 6-0, 6-4 decision in the first position. At number two, Lauren Perry fell to Gina DiGiacomo, 6-2,7-6. Saint Joseph's Margaret Mullaney defeated Martha Kutteh at number three, 6-1,6-1, while Christina Gomez fell at number for, 6-7, 6-0. Tristin Reppert topped Taylor Silverio in the day's final match, 6-1, 6-0. Katy Borden won by forfeit at number six.
The injury bug has affected the Explorers this fall, as they dropped to 0-6 on the season. They will close out the fall portion of their schedule tomorrow at Millersville.
