Final Stats

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Senior Jeremy Ortiz (Mount Laurel, NJ) knocked in a pass from fellow classmate Joe Heavey (Coatesville, PA) at the 29 minute mark in the first half to give La Salle what would eventually be the game-winner in a physical 1-0 win over St. Bonaventure in the Explorers 5th A-10 match-up. The win brings the Explorers over .500 in conference play (5-8-1, 3-2), while the Bonnies drop to 5-6-1 (2-3).

The goal- Ortiz's first of the season, extends La Salle's wins to three in a row. Heavey's assist gives him four total assists this season, a team-high. The Explorers went 2-0 this weekend as they defeated Duquesne on Friday night 2-1, then got the 1-0 win over Saint Bonaventure on Sunday.

Explorer keeper Andrew Bernhard (Lancaster, PA) had 12 saves in net. He is now 3-2 in goal and has been in goal in all three of La Salle's A-10 wins. Bonnie's goalie David Flynn (Lancaster, PA) has six saves.

The blue and gold now have four games on the road in November, the first of which is on Friday, November 2nd at Massachusetts at 3:00 PM.
