Kingston, RI- The Explorers were held scoreless for 90 consecutive minutes as the Rhode Island Rams gave the La Salle men's soccer team a 1-0 loss Sunday afternoon in Kingston.

Ram's Adam Howarth scored with just over a minute left in the second half off a corner kick from Danleigh Borman to give the Explorers (5-10-1, 3-4 A-10) their second loss of the weekend.

The first half was not eventful for either squad as the Explorers kept up with the Rams at 0-0 at the break. The second half was not much different until Borman's shot gave the Rams a lead the Explorers could not recover from. The blue and gold hung in the match despite being out-shot 23-5, as La Salle junior keeper Andrew Bernhard (Lancaster, PA) made seven stops in the loss. Senior Joe Heavey (Coatesville, PA) had La Salle's only shot on goal.

The Explorers return to action for their final A-10 road trip on November 9th at Richmond at 7 PM, and then take on George Washington in the regular season finale on November 11th at 1 PM.
