Box Score

AMHERST, MA - Rodney Green (Philadelphia, PA/Prep Charter) forced a steal on defense and converted it into a two-handed dunk 31 seconds into the game to give the La Salle Explorers(10-19, 3-12) their only lead of the night but the Massachusetts Minutemen (22-7, 12-3) scored the next 14 points and were never threatened in their 102-63 victory on Senior Night at the Mullins Center.

Freshman Ruben Guillandeaux (Brooklyn, NY/St. Patrick's) led the Explorers for the second straight game and set a career high with 21 points but the Explorers were outrebounded 54-30 and suffered the loss which officially eliminated them from contention in the Atlantic 10 Tournament.

UMass senior Stephane Lasme earned his fourth career triple-double (17pts./10 rbs. 10 blk.) and Rashaun Freeman went 10 for 14 from the field to finish with 20 points and 10 boards.

The Explorers will wrap up the season on Saturday by celebrating Senior Day in which Sean Neal and Mike St. John will make their final career appearances at Tom Gola Arena in a 12:00 PM tip-off against Xavier.
