Final Stats

BETHLEHEM, PA - The Explorers grabbed their second victory of the season today, coming from behind to win it 13-11 over the Lehigh Mountain Hawks. 

Jillian Davis led La Salle scoring, dropping five goals on Lehigh, including the winning score with 20 minutes left on the clock.  Stefany McKee and Tiffany Grossi added three more a piece, and Emily Bonczek and Catie Borneman each had one.

After Lehigh's Inneke Carmola broke the 1-1 tie five minutes into the first period, the Mountain Hawks led the rest of the half and five minutes of the second.  The Explorers began chipping away at a three-point deficit 10 minutes in, however, and eventually took the lead 10 minutes into the second period with Davis' fourth goal of the day. 

When another La Salle goal coming from McKee just minutes later made it 12-10, it was only a matter of the Explorers staying one step ahead until the clock ran out. 

Next up, the Explorers head down to Florida, when they take on Monmouth in West Palm Beach on March 8th.  That game is set to start at 11:00AM.
