Final Stats

ST. LOUIS, MO - The La Salle Explorers (12-15, 5-6) managed only one hit against the Billikens today, but it would be all they would need for the conference win.

Saint Louis' Ashley Levan kept the Explorers at the plate and off the field the entire game, until freshman Mary Pat Conville managed her second homerun of the season to give the Explorers a 1-0 lead and the only score of the game. 

Laura Dezolt gave up just three hits and two walks, stiking out 11 of 22 batters.  Catcher Michelle Sullivan put out 10 Billikens in the game, nearly six more than her average. 

Consistant fielding kept whatever Billikens who made it on base from getting to home, as the Explorers caught three players from stealing. 

The Explorers are scheduled to close out the series against Saint Louis tomorrow.  Due to the threat of inclement weather, however, check goexplorers.com for any possible scheduling changes.
