BRONX, NY - The La Salle University Baseball team dropped its final game of the season, 3-0, to Fordham in a game started late and shortened because of rain, Saturday at Houlihan Park.

Drew Gerhart allowed the three runs - all unearned in the second inning and took the loss for the Explorers.

John Malloy had three of the Explorers five hits in the game.

Fordham (33-20, 19-8 A-10) ended its regular season as the number two seed in the upcoming A-10 Baseball Championships and with a 10-game winning streak.

La Salle (17-32, 8-19 A-10) concluded its season with the loss.
