PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Explorer Club held its annual Spring Fund Drive Victory Celebration on Tuesday evening in Tree Tops Cafe (located on La Salle's South Campus). The Victory Celebration is the culmination of the Spring Fund Drive period, in which volunteers of the Explorer Club Board of Directors work together to raise funds for the Athletic Program. Pictured are members of the Board of Directors that reached their individual fundraising goals during the Fund Drive. Also pictured is the guest speaker for the evening, Larry Needle, Executive Director of the Philadelphia Sports Congress.
The event also serves as a way to energize friends of Athletics for the upcoming Explorer Club Autumn Auction and Reception. The Auction will be held in Tom Gola Arena on Saturday, September 29 and there is no admission charge for the event.
