The 2007 "Friends of Bill Raftery" Golf Outing was held Monday, June 18 at North Hills Country Club to raise funds for the Men's Basketball program at La Salle.  This year's event produced the largest turnout in its five year history, with 128 golfers participating.

 

Many others, in addition to the golfers, joined the "Friends of Bill Raftery" Committee in honoring Professor Emeritus Charlie Halpin during the dinner and awards ceremony.  Halpin taught students in La Salle's School of Business for an astounding 55 years, mentoring and providing support for some of La Salle's finest student-athletes.
