The La Salle volleyball team finally got in the win column on Saturday, defeating Rider, 3-1. The Explorers fell in game one, 26-30, prior to winning the next three by scores of 30-24, 30-21 and 30-20.

Junior Christa Dominick led the Explorers with 13 kills, while hitting .333 on the day. She also contributed six blocks. Senior Brittany Hanley, seeing her first action in 2007, chipped in with 11 kills and hit a blistering .500. Junior Amy McKeon recorded 10 kills and posted a .444 hitting percentage. As a team, La Salle hit .201, much improved from yesterday's matches.

Freshmen Kayla Beck and Carly Conlon led the team in digs, tallying 17 and 14, respectively.

The Explorers (1-2) will take on Lehigh in their fourth and final match at the Temple Invitational this afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
