Megan Krebs scored 14 minutes into overtime to give the Bucknell Bison a slim 1-0 victory over La Salle on Friday evening.

 

Despite outshooting the Bison 15-11, the Explorers were unable to get on the board, as Bucknell goalkeeper Diana Bartley turned away seven shots in earning the shutout. Junior Whitney Madron led La Salle with five shots.

 

The two teams played to a scoreless tie in regulation before Krebs took a feed from Amanda Faust in the 84^th minute and beat Explorer goalkeeper Ellen Axelsen for the game's only score.

 

Axelsen stopped four Bucknell shots on the evening.

 

The Explorers look to regroup in time for a meeting with Lafayette on Sunday. Game time is at 1 p.m. at DeVincent Field.
