PHILADELPHIA, PA - Junior midfielder/forward Jim Davis (Pittsgrove, NJ/ A.P. Schalick) has been named to the Philadelphia Soccer Seven Honor Roll for the week ending on Sunday, September 16th.

Davis broke nearly 83 minutes of scoreless soccer on Sunday for the Explorers against Penn to tie the game at 1-1 with the clock ticking down, sending the match into overtime. La Salle eventually went into double-overtime against the Quakers as the stalemate could not be broken and the game ended tied at 1-1. The match was La Salle's first of Philadelphia Soccer Seven play, where the blue and gold currently have a 0-0-1 record.

The Explorers (1-3-1) face off against the Saint Joseph's Hawks in their home-opener on Saturday, September 22nd at 7:00 PM at McCarthy Stadium.
