PHILADELPHIA, PA- On September 18, 2007, Albert Einstein Medical Center hosted "Take Your Loved One to the Doctor Day." The event was a day of health education, screenings and entertainment meant to encourage people to understand the importance of regular health screenings and the value of a relationship with a healthcare professional.
Members of La Salle's football team and athletic staff were at the event handing out schedule cards, magnets, and free tickets for their upcoming football game against The College of New Jersey on September 21st at 7:30PM. The Explorer mascot was also onsite greeting members of the community and visiting the various screening and information stations.
"Take A Loved One is a perfect fit for Albert Einstein Healthcare Network," said Dr. Steven Merahn, Vice President for Marketing & Brand Management. "Our mission is to provide intelligent and responsive healthcare and education to as many as we can reach in the communities we serve... And thanks to the power of radio, we're confident we will fulfill that mission on Sept. 18 and beyond."
