Philadelphia, PA – After dropping a home match to Temple earlier in the season, the La Salle volleyball team traveled down Broad Street on Thursday to face their city-rival again, but the Owls eventually went on to record their second victory over the Explorers, 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-18).

Senior Christa Dominick led the Explorers with seven kills along with achieving a .263 hitting percentage (7-2-19) while fellow senior Tammi Jones led with a match-high 17 digs.

Sophomore Carly Conlon and freshman Kourtney Clark combined for 23 of La Salle’s 26 assists and senior Amy McKeon tied a team-high with two assisted blocks.

For the Owls, junior Jackie Morrison led all participants with 33 assists and sophomore Caitlin Loudon led her team with 15 digs while also totaling two assisted blocks.

The Explorers (5-21, 1-9) celebrate Halloween with a road match against Fordham on Friday.
