Towson, MD --  The La Salle Explorers (1-4) could not contain Christina Boarman who posted three goals and seven points in a 5-2 win for her Towson Tigers on Wednesday night.

Boarman scored the first goal seven minutes and 16 seconds in and then again with just under 90 seconds remaining in the half.

The Explorers' first score of the game came at the 18:02 mark when senior Maria Allegretto posted her third goal of the season of a deflection in the front of the cage.

With the Tigers leading 4-2, Adrianna Lalli earned her first goal of the season with 15:27 to play.

Both Explorers goals were unassisted.

Towson outshot the Explorers 16-8 with nine shots finding the net.

Making her debut in the cage was freshman keeper Brittany Nzyio who played the the final 20:36 of the game.

The Explorers return to action Saturday afternoon with a 1:00 PM match-up at Siena.
