RICHMOND, VA - La Salle was held to four shots and two penalty corners in a 4-0 loss at Richmond on Friday afternoon. Junior Emma Ruth made eight saves in defeat, while juniors Beth Carey and Rachel Deaner each had defensive saves.

Senior Sarah Blythe-Wood had two goals, including one off a corner just 1:41 into the game. She scored the final goal of the game in the 63rd minute.

Dani Pycroft and Katelin Peterson also scored for the Spiders (7-7, 2-0 A-10).

The Explorers (5-10, 0-2 A-10) were outshot 22-4. Richmond had a 9-2 advantage in penalty corners.

Freshmen Rebecca Chylack and Neelam Kumar each had two shots for La Salle.

The Blue and Gold return to DeVincent Field on Sunday to host Saint Louis (0-12, 0-2 A-10) at noon.
