PHILADELPHIA - La Salle Women's Soccer dropped a 1-0 decision to visiting Xavier on Friday night at McCarthy Stadium in Atlantic 10 Conference action.

Xavier (2-8-1, 1-1-1 A-10) scored the lone goal of the game just 2:12 after half as Susie Pauley scored off an assist from Justine Hartigan.

The Explorers outshot the Musketeers in the contest and thought they scored the equalizer twice in the game's final 13 minutes.

With 12:54 left on the clock, La Salle was whistled for offsides just before scoring a goal.

Then with just under 6:30 left, a Morgan Golden shot finally beat Xavier goalie Kelly Farrell, who made 11 saves, but a defender was there to clear the ball.

La Salle (6-4-2, 0-2-1 A-10) is next in action hosting Dayton on Sunday. The Flyers enter the match 7-0-4, 3-0-0 in the A-10 after a 2-0 win at Fordham on Friday.
