Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle women's tennis team returned home on Sunday to host Elizabethtown College, however, four singles victories and a sweep in doubles competition gave the Blue Jays the 5-2 win.

La Salle started out strong with a win at No. 1 singles from senior Lauren Perry. Perry defeated Elizabethtown junior Emily Swarr 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-1). Two matches later, sophomore Christina Gomez picked up a singles win with a victory over Elizabethtown freshman Sarah Poulle 6-3, 1-6, 1-0 (10-4).

The Explorers (0-4) will head back on the road to face St. Peter's in Jersey City, NJ, on Tuesday at 3:30 PM.
