PHILADELPHIA - La Salle Women's Soccer took a one-goal lead into the final 10 minutes, but Albany scored a pair 39 seconds apart to take the match, 2-1, in non-conference action at McCarthy Stadium Friday night.

Erin Brennan broke the scoreless tie in the 59th minute as she took a Becky McGuigan cross and put it into the back of the net to give the Explorers a 1-0 lead.

Despite being outshot 14-7 and 11-6 on shots on goal, Albany (3-3) scored on back-to-back shots at the 80:33 and 81:12 mark.

Ashley Tirabassi put a free kick from Kendra Harrell-Vigil into the back of the net to even the game. The Great Danes then took the one-goal lead when Katie Grant scored on a cross from Chelsea DeVerna.

La Salle (4-2-1) will look to rebound when hosting the Vermont Catamounts on Sunday at McCarthy Stadium with a 1 PM kickoff.
