PITTSBURGH, PA - La Salle Women's Soccer dropped a 2-1 decision to the Duquesne Dukes on Sunday afternoon in Atlantic 10 Conference action at Rooney Field.

Renee Washington tallied her team-leading eighth goal of the season in the 67th minute, which knotted the game in the second half. Leigh Gray notched her team-leading fifth assist on the goal.

Duquesne (7-6-1, 4-1-0 A-10) responded just over eight minutes later when Michelle Mooren scored the game winner off a free kick. The Dukes put the first goal on the board at the 35:43 mark with a tally from Lauren Ott.

Ashley Szalwinski earned the win in net for Duquesne, making three saves, while Gabby Pakhtigian stopped six shots in the loss.

La Salle (7-7-2, 1-3-1 A-10) will finish out the 2010 regular season with four straight home games. That stretch begins this Friday, Oct. 22 when the Explorers host Richmond at McCarthy Stadium at 7 PM.
