Junior Lindsay Fry tied the game just before halftime but it was the only offense La Salle could muster in a 3-1 loss at Lock Haven on Friday afternoon. Senior Emma Ruth made nine saves for the Explorers.
Lock Haven took a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute off a goal by leading scorer Amy Hordendorf.
With no time remaining on the clock at the end of first half, the Explorers drew even after converting on a penalty corner with Fry scoring off a rebound.
LHU (12-5, 3-1 A-10) controlled the second half of play and tallied two goals from Kristi Shepps and Leslie Ahern.
Lock Haven goalie Erin Terreson made two saves in the win. The Eagles outshot La Salle, 21-4, and held a 8-3 lead in corners.
The Explorers (6-10, 1-3 A-10) return home on Sunday to host Richmond at noon.
