PHILADELPHIA - Richmond's Dani Pycroft scored with just over seven minutes remaining to give the visitors a 1-0 victory over La Salle on Sunday afternoon at DeVincent Field. Senior Emma Ruth made nine saves for the Explorers.

The Spiders controlled play for the majority of the game, firing 21 shots for the contest. But it wasn't until the 63rd minute that UR found the back of the cage when Pycroft dribbled down the right side of the field and fired a hard shot to the far side for the game's only goal.

Sophomore Rebecca Chylack led La Salle (6-11, 1-4 A-10) with two shots.

Richmond (8-9, 3-2 A-10) held a 10-4 advantage in corners and Ann Jefferis made one save for UR.

The Explorers will visit Saint Louis on Friday before returning home for "Senior Day" on Sunday against Massachusetts.
