ELIZABETHTOWN, PA -
La Salle swept three doubles matches and won five of six in singles to defeat Elizabethtown, 8-1, on Wednesday afternoon. Senior Jon Maula, sophomore Fernando Tovia and freshman Trevor Donovan each won singles and doubles matches. LU improves to 14-6 this season.
"It was a very competitive doubles match," head coach Ed Colfer said. "It was important to get those three points and it took some of the pressure off the singles matches."
Elizabethtown drops to 4-3.
The Explorers visit Rider on Thursday.
