PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's defeated La Salle, 7-0, on Monday in the final regular season match of the year for both teams. The Atlantic 10 Championship begins Thursday in Monroeville, PA.

"It was a hard-fought and very competitive match," head coach Ed Colfer said.

La Salle falls to 17-8, while SJU improves to 5-16.
