Kingston, RI - The Explorers fell to Rhode Island, 3-0 (17-25, 15-25, 21-25).

Samantha Tulskie led La Salle with nine kills and 11 digs. Carly Conlon notched nine assists.

The Explorers played their best match in the third set, which featured four tie scores and two lead changes, but couldn't overtake the Rams. 

For Rhode Island, Rachel Zarazan contributed nine kills, while hitting .444.

The Explorers will next travel to Temple for a noon match on Wednesday.
