OLEAN, N.Y. - The women's basketball team fell on the road in Atlantic 10 play at St. Bonaventure, 74-54.
 
In her first game back after being sidelined with an injury during the November 22 contest against Oral Roberts, sophomore Alexis Scott tallied 15 points and seven rebounds.  Senior Ashley Gale and Jess Koci also reached double figures, netting 16 and 13 points, respectively.
 
The Bonnie's Megan Van Tatenhove led all scorers with 22 points.  Chelsea Bowker notched a double-double of 11 points and game-high 10 rebounds.

The Explorers played a tough first half and jumped out to a six point lead over St. Bonaventure with 11:42 remaining in the first half.

The lead would change four times before the break and the Bonnies went into the half up by three at 38-35 after Jessica Jenkins sunk a shot from beyond the arc with under a second on the clock.

It was all St. Bonaventure in the second half.  The Explorers didn't sink a shot for nearly the first six minutes, while the Bonnies went on a 22-2 run to lead 60-37 at the 11:30 mark.

La Salle would be behind as many as 23 points in the game.

St. Bonaventure dominated on the boards, pulling down 39 rebounds to the Explorers' 28.  La Salle shot .362 for the game.

The Explorers return from their seven game road trip to face Saint Louis on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Tom Gola Arena.
