PHILADELPHIA - Junior guard Ramon Galloway of the men's basketball team has been named the GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Week, it was announced today. Galloway averaged 17.5 ppg and 7.0 rpg. in a 2-0 week for La Salle.

He opened the week with a 14-point, five-rebound performance in a 68-51 win over Northeastern in which he helped hold NU leading scorer Joel Smith to two points.

On Saturday in a 78-52 win over Bucknell, he scored 20 points and had a career-high nine rebounds. Galloway also made a career-best five three-pointers.

The Explorers are 4-1 with Galloway in the lineup.
