MOREHEAD, KY - Eric Kammler hit his first home run of the season and added two RBI in a 6-4 loss at Morehead State on Friday night at Allen Field. 

The Explorers (4-8) also received a multiple-hit performance from Eric's brother, Adam, who went 2-for-4.  Jeff Flax and Dan Kelm also added RBI for La Salle. 

Kevin Fuqua had a rocky outing on the mound, allowing 13 hits and six runs in 6.1 innigns pitched.  

La Salle and Morehead were tied at four heading into the seventh when the Eagles pushed across two runs on Fuqua to knock the starter out of the game and take over the lead for good.

The two teams will play the middle game of the three-game set tomorrow at 1 p.m. LHP Eric Van Wyk will get the start for the Explorers.  He will be opposed by LHP Noah Smallwood for MSU.
