The La Salle women’s tennis team suffered a 7-0 defeat at the hands of Loyola on Saturday in Baltimore, Md.
Leah Garrison battled the Greyhounds’ Sabrina Fedele at No. 2 singles, winning the first set 7-5. Garrison dropped the second set, 5-7, then went on to fall 10-1 in the tie breaker.
In No. 1 singles, Kiara Smith dropped her first set, 6-2, and forced Loyola’s Rachel Janasek into extra points in the second set, but ultimately fell 7-5.
The Explorers will look for their first win of the season on Wednesday when they travel to Northeast Philadelphia to meet Holy Family.
