Men's Tennis Defeats Chestnut Hill, 6-3, For Fourth Straight Win

PHILADELPHIA - With a 6-3 win on Tuesday afternoon on the Chestnut Hill College Tennis Courts, the men’s tennis team picked up its fourth straight win of the spring season.

Fernando Tovia and Joseph LaBate picked up wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively. Trevor Donovan and Hunter Selman scored victories at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.

Chas Berenato lost a tough match at No. 4 singles, falling 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (9-7).

Mikel Kosich dropped the No. 1 singles match, 6-2, 6-1.

The Explorers picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, while Chestnut Hill took the No. 3 doubles competition.

La Salle will return home to face Moravian on Thursday afternoon.
