STATE COLLEGE, PA – After a pair of lengthy rain delays, mother nature finally got the best of La Salle’s baseball game at Penn State on Tuesday evening at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

After a 50-minute rain delay, the Explorers and Nittany Lions played just over an inning before the skies opened up again and forced another delay. After taking the field for the third time, more rain and lightning finally ended the action as the umpired cancelled the game.

The Explorers (23-15, 10-5) will continue their road trip this weekend when they begin a crucial three-game conference series against Richmond.
