The La Salle swimming & diving squad has announced its schedule for the 2011-12 season.
Competition will kick off on October 21 when the Explorers host Villanova at Kirk Pool before traveling across town to swim against Drexel the next day.
In November, the Explorers will face St. Bonaventure and Duquesne on the road, then Delaware and Rider at home before participating in the Bucknell Invitational, which runs from November 18-21.
La Salle alumni will be welcomed back during the team's meet at Kirk Pool on December 3 against Bucknell.
The Rhode Island Invitational, followed by a dual meet against Fordham, which will be senior day, and a dual meet against Loyola in Baltimore will make up La Salle's January slate.
A February 4 meet against Penn and UMBC will be the Explorers' final tune up before the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championships.
The conference championships will be held in Buffalo, N.Y. from February 22-25. The Explorer men will try to improve upon their third-place finish in 2011, while the women will look to improve upon last year's fourth-place finish.
