PHILADELPHIA, PA – The “Friends of Bill Raftery” Golf Committee is pleased to announce the annual Open Practice will take place on Friday, October 21 at 6:00 pm in Tom Gola Arena. La Salle alumni, current students and fans are invited to join CBS and ESPN college basketball analyst, Bill Raftery `63 to meet the 2011-12 Men's Basketball team.

Practice is open to all students, alumni and fans of La Salle Athletics. During and following the practice, there will be a VIP hospitality reception accessible exclusively to qualifying Explorer Club members or admissible with a $50 donation to the Explorer Club and La Salle men's basketball* payable in advance or at the time of entry.   Following the open practice Mr. Raftery and Coach Dr. John Giannini will join the reception and take questions from the attendees.   The hospitality area will include beer, wine, soft drinks, heavy hors d'oeuvres, as well as exclusive time with Raftery. 

Those with pre-registration and payment for the 10^th Annual Friends of Bill Raftery Golf Outing held on June 18^th, 2012 at North Hills Country Club. Pre-registration can be accomplished by contacting explorerclub@lasalle.edu.

The men's basketball team opens their season against Lafayette on Friday, November 11 at 7:00 pm in Tom Gola Arena.
