PHILADELPHIA- The 9^th Annual Explorer Club Auction is just days away and now over 90% of the available items are available to view and bid upon.  The 2011 Explorer Club Auction Booklet is posted here and will be on sale at Tom Gola Arena the night of the event for a $10 donation.  The program book also features a certificate redeemable two tickets to an Explorer Men's Basketball games in the 2011-2012 season.
 
The Explorer Club Auction will be held this Saturday at 6:00pm in Tom Gola Arena. Admission to the event is free and features top-shelf food and drink, with beverage sponsorship provided by Moosehead. The event is the marquee fundraising event for the Explorer Club with proceeds from the night benefiting all student-athletes.
 
Over 150 items are featured in this year's booklet, including rare sports memorabilia, golf and travel packages, restaurant gift cards, and authentic La Salle gear. Bids for the event are not being accepted for those who can't make the event or want to bid on items early to avoid the rush. The live auction event will feature five items up for bid (viewable here) and will be hosted by Scott Schaffer ('85) of WNEP-TV Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and last year's master of ceremonies.
