View highlights from Northeastern win, including Duren's game winner

PHILADELPHIA – Junior Tyreek Duren has been named Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week for December 10, the conference office announced today. In addition, Duren received the same recognition from the Big 5 for the second time in the past three weeks. He averaged 20.5 ppg. and 3.5 apg. in two Explorer wins.

Duren hit a fadeaway jumper with 1.2 seconds remaining to seal a 66-64 victory over Northeastern on Saturday. All 12 of Duren's points came in the second half, while tallying three assists and four steals in 40 minutes of action.

The junior drained a career-high 29 points in La Salle's 82-57 win over Penn State on Wednesday, shooting 9-for-13 from the field and a 7-for-8 from the charity stripe. Duren added four assists and committed only one turnover in the contest.

Through seven games this season, Duren ranks second in the A-10 in scoring at 17.6 ppg. He shares the A-10 honor with Dayton's Kevin Dillard.

The guard totaled seven assists and five steals for the week, shot .565 (13-of-23) from the field and was nearly perfect at the line, shooting .909 (10-of-11).
