LEWISBURG, Pa. – The La Salle women's swimming and diving team completed its day one action at the Bucknell Invitational on Friday evening with a fifth place standing. The Explorer women accumulated 200 team points on the day and are sandwiched by Georgetown (227) and Binghamton (144).
The 400-yard medley relay team (Curran, Jenkinson, Mann, Sukonthapanich) swam an excellent race, clocking a 3:51.89. The quartet gained 44 team points as a result, the high mark for any Explorer finish.
Greta Reichert swam a 4:58.29 in the 500-yard freestyle finals while
Colleen Larkin posted a 4:56.42.
The 200-yard freestyle relay 'A' team (Sukonthapanich, McCluskey, Wilson, Finn) came in fifth, clocking a 1:38.04. Sukonthapanich went on to touch the wall at 23.97 in the 50-yard freestyle, earning sixth place.
