PHILADELPHIA – Tony Washington (Greenville, S.C. / Miller School (Va.)) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play men's basketball at La Salle University, head coach Dr. John Giannini announced today.
 
“Tony will be another player who helps our team chemistry because he is a good teammate and a mature, kind person,” Giannini said. “We very much look forward to his arrival on campus.
 
“He gives us a very athletic player who can block shots, rebound and be effective on both ends of the floor. He has a high upside and is an excellent addition to our program.”
 
The 6-9 forward/center averaged 12.6 ppg., 8.4 rpg. and 2.6 bpg last season and was a Second Team All-State Division I selection.
