PHILADELPHIA – Andrew McGlynn, who has spent the last two years on staff at Detroit Mercy, has been named the video coordinator for the La Salle men's basketball program, head coach Dr. John Giannini announced today.
 
"Andrew is a bright, energetic coach with a great future," Giannini said. "He is a perfect addition to our staff. His video work will enhance our game preparation and player development. Personally, he adds to the outstanding chemistry we have within our program."
 
McGlynn served as a graduate assistant for Detroit Mercy, managing the program's video operations and assisting in scouting. He also developed new ways to analyze players' performance in practice and games by using statistics. The Titans reached the NIT during McGlynn's first season in 2012-13.
 
He also was a team manager at Towson for four seasons and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in sport management. He received a MBA from Detroit Mercy in 2014.
 
McGlynn also worked for the Hoop Group for three summers and has contributed as a writer for several basketball publications.
