GENEVA, Ohio – The La Salle women's swimming and diving team picked up 44 team points on Wednesday in day one action at the Atlantic 10 Championships. The 200-yard medley relay team showed strong, turning in a sixth place performance to earn 26 team points.

Chelsey Curran, Kelsey Jenkinson, Amina Wilson, and Katie Snee combined to register a 1:44.35 in the event. Richmond took the top time with a 1:41.09.

Later in the evening, the 800-yard freestyle relay (Reichert, Finn, Snee, Larkin) posted a 7:33.22, coming in ninth place and earning 18 team points.

The Explorers enter Thursday in eighth place. Richmond (80 points) sits in the lead, followed by George Mason (60 points) and Fordham/Rhode Island (58 points each). 

The championships resume Thursday morning at 10:30 AM.
