PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Big 5 honored
Jordan Price as its Player of the Week, it was announced on Monday.
Price averaged 21.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Explorers. He had 23 of his 30 points in the second half of a setback at UMass and netted 13 points in a win over Richmond.
For the week he shot 51.6% from the field, 80% from the free throw line. He is the first Atlantic 10 player with three 30-point games this season and the first Explorer with three 30-point games in a season since Steven Smith did so during the 2005-06 season.
