PHILADELPHIA – La Salle redshirt sophomore Jordan Price and senior Jerrell Wright have been named to the All-Philadelphia Big 5 first and second teams, respectively, it was announced today. In addition, sophomore guard Hank Davis was named the Big 5 Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Price earns First Team All-Big 5 honors for the first time in his career after leading the Explorers in scoring at 17.2 ppg. He ranked second behind Saint Joseph's DeAndre' Bembry in the Big 5.

The guard led the team in minutes per game (31.9), three-point field goals (69), assists (75) and free throw percentage (.799). He also earned Second Team All-Atlantic 10 recognition this season.

Wright was a Second Team All-Big 5 selection for the second straight season. He finished second on the team in scoring (12.1 ppg.) and rebounding (6.5 rpg.) and led the Explorers in field goal shooting (.524) for the fourth straight season.

He compiled one of the best careers of a La Salle big man, compiling 1,512 points and 841 rebounds in his four year tenure. The 841 rebounds rank eight on the Explorers' all-time list. Wright's .561 career shooting percentage is second in school history.

Davis becomes the second Explorer to receive Big 5 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, joining Steve Weingarten in 2011. The sophomore guard carries a 3.78 grade point average as a biology major.

The Big 5 banquet is set for Monday, April 13 at the Palestra at 6 PM. In addition to honoring this year's award winners, the Big 5 will induct the 2015 Hall of Fame class, which includes La Salle graduate and college basketball analyst Bill Raftery '63.
