PHILADELPHIA - La Salle sophomore
Jordan Price has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District IV Second Team, it was announced today. It marks the fourth straight year that an Explorer has made the All-District Team.
Price joins an impressive group of former La Salle men's basketball players to be named NABC All-District as a sophomore that includes
Tyreek Duren (2012), Donnie Carr (1998), Lionel Simmons (1988), Michael Brooks (1978), Joe Bryant (1974), Ken Durrett (1969), Bill Raftery (1961) and Tom Gola (1953).
The Decatur, Ga. native also earned First Team All-Big 5 and Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors this season after leading the Explorers in scoring at 17.2 ppg. He ranked second behind Saint Joseph's DeAndre' Bembry in the Big 5.
The guard led the team in minutes per game (31.9), three-point field goals (69), assists (75) and free throw percentage (.799).
