PHILADELPHIA - Members from the La Salle University NCAA Sweet 16 team and two La Salle Men's Basketball greats are teaming up to represent La Salle University in The Basketball Tournament (TBT). Ramon Galloway, Tyreek Duren, Jerrell Wright, Tyrone Garland, Steve Zack, DJ Peterson, Rodney Green, and Steve Smith are teaming up for the first time all together. Be a part of this exciting moment in La Salle Men's Basketball history!

What is The Basketball Tournament (TBT)?

The Basketball Tournament is an open application, 5-on-5, single-elimination, winner-take-all, basketball tournament. Last year the winning team was the Notre Dame Alumni Basketball team and took home $500,000. The way to get entered into the tournament is heavily based on FAN VOTES. The more FAN VOTES a team gets, the better seed they receive. This year there are 4 regions: Northeast (Philadelphia), South (Atlanta), Midwest (Chicago), and West (Los Angeles). 24 teams from each region are selected based on FAN VOTES. The tournament begins the weekend of July 16, 17, & 18.  

How can you be a part?
Currently the La Salle University Alumni Team (20^th & Olney) is outside of the top 24 in the Northeast Region. The deadline to become a FAN is June 1^st. It is up to the votes to determine if 20^th & Olney will make the tournament. By following these 5 easy steps, you can help ensure that your La Salle Alumni Team becomes a part of this special tournament:

2. Click the BECOME A FAN box (on the right hand side, orange box)
3. Fill out the basic information it asks and click CREATE NEW ACCOUNT
4. Go to your email and click on the link to verify your account
