The Catamounts broke open the scoreless tie in the 26th minute and took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Eight minutes after the break, O'Grady was selected to take a penalty stroke and found the back of the cage for her first goal of the season. The Explorers took the lead with 13 minutes to go when Lawrence took a pass from senior
Devin Muracco and beat the keeper to give the visitors a 2-1 advantage.
Vermont (2-0) tied the score with just 1:51 to play on Landon Warren's second tally of the afternoon. Overtime went over seven minutes before either team could score when Vermont's Carla Godsman scored off a rebound for the victory and the Catamount Classic title.Â

Rachel Hartman had four saves.
Vermont had a slim 18-17 lead in shots and a 12-7 advantage in corners.
The Explorers (1-1) return to Philadelphia to visit Temple on Sunday.Â
