PHILADELPHIA - For the second consecutive week, a member of the La Salle men's basketball team has been selected as the Big 5 Player of the Week, it was announced by the organization on Wednesday. Senior guard Jordan Price, who also earned a spot on the Atlantic 10's Weekly Honor Roll, was chosen after helping the Explorers run their winning streak to four games with a pair of wins.

After sophomore Pookie Powell earned the award last week, Price averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists over two victories that helped La Salle (10-5, 4-1 A10) move into a tie for second place in the Atlantic 10. Price went for 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a 79-69 win over George Washington on Sunday, going 9-of-11 from the field and 4-for-5 from three-point range. On the week, the 6-5 guard shot 60.0 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from deep.

On the season, the Decatur, Ga. native ranks second on the team in scoring at 17.1 ppg and with his 1,420 career points at La Salle ranks 24th on the all-time scoring list.
