PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University men's basketball team has announced that it will host Shippensburg (Pa.) for an exhibition game at Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center on Saturday, Nov. 4. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., and general admission tickets are free for all fans.

The Explorers return three starters and eight letterwinners from last year's squad, including Philadelphia natives B.J. Johnson and Amar Stukes. Johnson was a Philadelphia Big 5 First Team choice in 2016-17, while Stukes set career highs in virtually all offensive categories.

Shippensburg is coming off an impressive 2016-17 campagin in which it went 27-4 and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament. Three of the team's top scorers return from last year, including leading scorer and First Team All-American Dustin Sleva (21.7 ppg).
