PHILADELPHIA - For the second time this year, senior men's basketball player
B.J. Johnson has been named GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Wednesday.
Johnson averaged 21.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals over two games for the Explorers. The 6-7 forward had 21 points and seven boards in La Salle's narrow loss to No. 4 Villanova at Wells Fargo Center on Sunday.
On the year, the Philadelphia native currently ranks second in the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 21.5 points per contest and is third in rebounding at 9.2 boards per game.
