Women's Water Polo | February 26, 2017
ERIE - The Women's Water Polo team (1-3) recorded it's historical first win on Sunday afternoon, a 12-8 defeat of Penn State Behrend. The Explorers had defeated Lindenwood University's club team on Saturday night, totaling two wins in four contests over the weekend.
Six different players for La Salle found the scoring column.
Stephanie Morales was the team's leading scorer with four goals.
Racquel Jimenez,
Katelynn Kubo, and
Jenny Fermaintt had two apiece. Alyssa Palenca and
Kacie Cios each had one score.
Head Coach
Paul Macht and his team will return home to host Villanova in the team's first ever home game at Kirk Pool on Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
