PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University men's basketball team will take on defending Patriot League champion Bucknell at Tom Gola Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 4, it was announced on Wednesday. The contest marks the eighth matchup between the two schools over the last 11 years.

The Explorers and Bison last met at Gola Arena on Dec. 3, 2016, with La Salle earning an 83-73 victory. Recent grad B.J. Johnson scored 22 points in the win over Bucknell, who would go on to win its first of two consecutive league championships that season.

La Salle holds a 19-5 all-time record against Bucknell and is a perfect 12-0 against the Bison in Philadelphia.
